UX Writer & Content Designer

Adaptable | Community-focused | Project-based

I’m an inclusive content designer and UX writer. I create responsive, user-centered content that enables data-driven decisions for customers, businesses, and nonprofits. As a trained public speaker and systems thinker, I have expertise in translating qualitative and quantitative research into actionable practices, procedures, processes, and policies.

Interests: biking, gardening, travel, volunteering

Personality type: Advocate (INFJ-A)
Traits: Introverted – 51%, Intuitive – 61%, Feeling – 68%, Judging – 53%, Assertive – 71%

In my TED talk, I advocate for open access research publications, community-based research projects, and public-facing articles written in plain language. But perhaps most importantly, I argue that we should value the voices of our community members as experts and begin to shift academia’s cultural currency from publishing to practice. Now that I work in the private sector, I am focused on the translation of qualitative and quantitative research into actionable practices, procedures, processes, and policies within for-profit companies and non-profit organizations. I write about my work on Medium and LinkedIn.
